Welcome to STAMP:

Access and Mask Restrictions Lifted for the Summer

In alignment with the University of Maryland lifting COVID-19 related restrictions on May 31, STAMP has lifted access, capacity and mask restrictions in our building. As a result, visitors will see several changes throughout the STAMP and around the UMD campus in the days and weeks ahead.

In the STAMP, visitors will notice some of the following changes:

  • Given the latest public health guidance that includes the lifting of restrictions on physical distancing and mask wearing (for vaccinated individuals), the 4Maryland signage materials are no longer accurate and campus leadership has determined that all 4Maryland signage should be removed as soon as practical. Signage such as floor decals for physical distancing, one way arrows, elevator signs and temporary room capacity signs will be removed.
  • Employees, students and guests in UMD facilities will no longer be required to wear face masks inside or outside of the STAMP.
  • Furniture will be returned to the food court, lounge spaces and other common areas gradually over the coming weeks as we plan for rearranged seating areas to make our guests as comfortable as possible while transitioning back to a sense of normalcy.

STAMP continues to provide a safe space for the community with safety and cleaning/disinfecting protocols guided by the CDC and state/county recommendations.

If you are specifically looking for a Veteran Student Life Representative, we are available in the Engagement Office down the hall from the Bookstore 9 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday.
