AR*AC Stats & Important Numbers

During the 2013-2014 school year, 338 AR*AC mentors:

  • Spent 1,225 hours in elementary schools each week. 
  • Partnered with 19 PGCPS partner schools. 
  • Helped 46.6% of their 1st and 2nd grade mentees increase reading ability by at least three book levels. 
  • Helped 54% of their 4th grade mentees increase math scores by at least 20%. 
  • Impacted more than 3,920 PGCPS students and parents.
