Sama Sabihi (she/her/hers) is the Cross-Cultural Graduate Assistant, focusing on Interfaith and Middle Eastern student involvement. She is a first year Master's student in the Higher Education program, Student Affairs tract at UMD. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Amara Kamal (she/her/hers) is the Community Organizing Student Intern (COSI) for Interfaith & Spiritual Diversity. She is a double major Operations Management & Business Analytics and Information Systems at the Robert H. Smith Business School. She is a member of the Quality Enhancement Systems & Teams (QUEST) Honors program and the Global Communities Living and Learning program. Amara is a practicing Muslim and the daughter of two Indian immigrants. She strives to create an inclusive interfaith community at UMD and explore the intersectionality of interfaith with the arts, mental health, and other involvement areas.
