Adele H. Stamp Student Union - Center for Campus Life

Each Fall and Spring semester, Veteran Student Life hosts an orientation exclusively for incoming student veterans, including freshmen, transfer, and graduate student veterans. The orientation covers topics such as health insurance, veteran benefits, scholarships, academic support services, recreational activities, and professional development. Incoming students are also able to meet representatives from a number of departments around campus. Additionally, attending Veterans and Military-Connected Orientation is a great way to meet other incoming student veterans going through the same transition as you and current student veterans who just made this transition recently. Our orientation is planned and led by veterans for veterans. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Veterans and military-connected students are allowed to bring guests. This is not the same as your freshmen or transfer school orientation which you are still required to attend.

Veteran and Military-Connected New Students for the Fall 2020 semester are encouraged to register for the Veteran and Military-Connected Student Orientation, which will be a virtual event over Zoom because of COVID-19. It is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (EDT).

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we will not be doing our Veteran Outdoor Adventure Orientation for the Fall 2020 semester.
