Adele H. Stamp Student Union - Center for Campus Life

This semester we are starting our Grad Lounge Late Night Series! The Graduate Student Lounge is NOW OPEN until 7pm Tuesdays-Thursdays. We will have a series of different events throughout the semester. There will be something for everyone from game nights, to trivia nights, to writing workshops. Late Night Programs will take place from 4 through 6 PM in the Graduate Student Lounge. Come visit us!

When was UMD founded? Which US state is known for their peaches? Test your trivia skills out during one of our monthly trivia nights this spring. Every participant will be entered in to a raffle for a prize and the winning team will win a grand prize!

Have an assignment that you haven’t got a good start on? Join GSL for a biweekly pomodoro style workshop to learn about time management and strategies for how to get work done effectively! The Graduate Student Writing Center will occasionally join us at these workshops to answer writing questions. The lounge will be a QUIET zone for two hours and will allow you to settle in and write while also learning about strategies to get work done.

Wind Down Wednesday is a monthly event that will be dedicated and centered around self care practices, relaxation, and meditation. Come let off some stress at these fun workshops.

Come join us in the lounge once a month for a Game Night Mixer. Mix and Mingle with fellow grads while enjoying a fun night of board games and snacks! Some game night mixer will be tournament style but others are free play. Take a study break and play a game or two!
