TOCSL VIBES!! You Are Invited!!

Join us on Friday, August 25th from 3:30 - 5:00 pm in the XFINITY Center’s Heritage Hall as we welcome and celebrate you, our transfer and off-campus Terps. See here for the Facebook Event details and click Going! TOCSL VIBES is the official pre-game event for fall 2017 transfer and off-campus students. Meet with fellow new transfer and off-campus students before attending the President’s Welcome for New Students, a university-wide pep rally that officially welcomes our newest Terps into our Maryland family!


We will be giving away the 2017 New Student Welcome T-shirts as well as plenty of giveaways and prizes! Students will also enjoy FREE food, games, a trail mix bar, and meet lots of other awesome students!


On August 25, students should park in lot 4b just outside of XFINITY Center and enter through Gates B or D. At 5:00 pm, we will transition into the President’s Welcome where off-campus students will show the Maryland Community WHO RUNS UMD! A BBQ dinner will be served after the President's Welcome.

Transfer2Terp Class Application available NOW!

All incoming transfer students interested in joining the T2T learning community, are invited to  complete the following interest form.


Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.  As part of the form, students will fill out preferred days/times for the course. Brandom James Malstrom Memorial Scholarship

The Brandon James Malstrom Memorial Scholarship provides an annual scholarship for transfer students who share the educational aspirations that Brandon exemplified. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a Maryland resident or have graduated from a Maryland high school to be eligible for this scholarship.


Applications are due 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time Friday, July 28, 2017 and notifications of the award will be made in mid-August 2017. The award amount is $1,000.
