MICA COORDINATOR FOR LGBTQ STUDENT INVOLVEMENT & COMMUNITY ADVOCACY!

My name is Fiona Jardine. I am a first year graduate student in the Master of Library Science program in the Information and Diverse Populations concentration. I am originally from York in the north of England, but moved to America in 2008. After living in San Francisco for three and a half years, I moved to Maryland in late 2011.

My background is in the law: I was admitted to practice law in California in 2010 and Maryland in 2012. I owned a café in San Francisco as well as practicing law, but was not particularly a fan of either. I am not planning on having a career as an attorney, nor opening a café, in Maryland! As for the interesting stuff, I ride my motorcycle whenever possible, am keeper to two hives of bees and blog about it, and live up to the English stereotype of drinking lots of tea.
