Stamp Special Events and Programs exists to transform and enrich the Maryland experience through a comprehensive schedule of interactive, exciting and intentional student-centered programming that promotes student engagement. Through the Adele H. Stamp Student Union - Center for Campus Life lenses of multiculturalism, leadership, and civic engagement, Stamp Special Events and Programs is committed to excellence and innovation in its programming and services.
Stamp Special Events and Programs oversees the coordination and execution of many large campus events that take place both inside and outside the Stamp, including the All Niter, StampFest, Stamp Study Zone stress relieving activities during finals, Sizzlin' Summer Series, New Student Welcome, and the Stamp's offerings for Maryland Day. In addition to these events, Stamp Special Events and Programs directs a number of small scale events in the building with includes Stamp Friday Showcase, a weekly lunchtime concert series featuring student and local bands. A major responsibility of the Stamp Special Events and Programs staff is to coordinate Maryland's Homecoming efforts.
