Curious about other faiths? Want to explore spiritual traditions through experiences of services, prayer, and visits to sacred spaces? The Interfaith Experience Project is an opportunity for members of the UMD students, faculty and staff from any background to learn about and explore the spiritual diversity of our community. The program features 3 mini-field trips to houses of worship and sacred spaces, with opportunities for small group Q&A and discussion with leaders and lay-people from the communities we visit.
This program is co-sponsored by MICA and the Memorial Chapel.
The Interfaith Experience Project has finished for the 2014-15 academic year. Stay tuned for trips in the 2015-16 academic year.
In Spring 2015, Interfaith Experience Project visited the Catholic Student Center, Hindu Temple of Metropolitan Washington and Maryland Hillel. See posters below.
