Communities in Collaboration Retreat

Communities in Collaboration Retreat  (CICR)

The Communities in Collaboration Retreat is a free, half-day retreat focused on diversity & social justice issues. Through guided discussion and workshops, participants will connect with student leaders and various campus organizations. The retreat aims to enhance participants’ advocacy strategies and assist in building collaborative initiatives for social change.

Lunch will be provided.

This year’s retreat will be held on Sunday Sept. 13th 11:30-4:30PM in the Atrium in the Adele H. Stamp Student Union.

RSVP Deadline is Sunday, September 6 at midnight.

As leaders in various communities--on issues concerning race, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and culture—the continued development and success is important to the success of their programming and events, which in turn have a tremendous impact on the campus community.

Participants will be encouraged to practice new skills, give and receive feedback from their peers in other cultural organizations, and connect with other resources offered by the MICA Office. Email Naliyah Kaya for more information!
