  • Congratulations Class of 2013! Best of luck to everyone during finals week!

Spotlights

  •  NPR recently featured UMD Alum and AB supporter, Margaret Swallow, and our AWB Guatemala Community Partner- Los Andes- in a story on Morning Edition! Together, with the support of women in coffee from around the world, they have an incredible story of connection and empowerment.
  • LCSL just celebrated the memorandum of understanding that was signed last spring between the University and Northwestern High School with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Provost, Ann Wylie, Dean Wiseman, and the interim superintendent of Prince George's School System, Alvin Crawley, at Northwestern High School. Check out this awesome video about the program!

  • Congratulations to Shane Bryan, Americorps VISTA in LCSL, for being selected as the winner of the 2012 Maryland-DC Campus Compact Campus-Community Partnership Award! What a great honor for all his work with the Northwestern High School Project!
  • This semester Terps for Change has had 70 students working with nine community partner sites this semester! Our volunteers also participated in community dialogues facilitated by eleven dialogue coordinators every two weeks!
