Income Tax Assistance

Tax Preparation Assistance Program (TAP)

The Graduate School’s Tax Preparation Assistance Program (TAP), founded by David North in 2001 and managed by Fred Stollnitz since 2015, helps graduate students to prepare their federal and state income-tax returns. The TAP also provides information about students’ income-tax obligations and how to meet those obligations. However, the TAP does not offer individual tax advice. Students are responsible for obtaining their own professional tax advice, if necessary.
