Subject: Hoff Funding Board for Fall 2012

Now in its second year, the Hoff Funding Board will be offering financial assistance to registered student organizations, administrative and academic departments that are coordinating events and programs specifically in the Hoff Theater, Adele H. Stamp Student Union – Center for Campus Life.

Each semester, $20,000 will be available to enhance programming efforts in this particular venue. At this time, I would like to encourage you to submit proposals for programs and events that will occur during the 2012 Fall Term. To be eligible for funding, each group should complete an electronic proposal that can be found at stampunion.umd.edu/hofffunding. All proposals must be completed online and a response is required to all of the questions detailed on the form.

Proposals must be completed on-line prior to April 4, 2012 by 5:00 pm. The Hoff Fund Review Committee will review all proposals in mid-April. Departments and organizations receiving funds will be notified following the Review Committee meeting and the funds will be available during the Fall semester.
